Cat Deeley promotes urgent UNICEF UK appealBy Iain Alexander / 10 December 2012 Cat Deeley has turned to Twitter to urge her 280k+ followers to help with an urgent appeal from UNICEF to raise much needed funds for Syrian children facing a winter crisis. The conflict in Syria has forced many children out of their homes, and with more than 500,000 Syrian children without shelter, the crisis is mounting. With a harsh winter approaching, many Syrian refugees fleeing the bombardment of their homes need support from the international community. The conflict in Syria has become a civil war with millions already displaced and tens of thousands dead. With the escalation of violence, and the potential of further hardships as the country's infrastructure collapses, many of the young victims will bear the full brunt of this tragedy. Children of war are the most vulnerable and need your help. Check out the urgent appeal from UNICEF UK today.
