As hype builds for the start of production on Bond 25, it has been revealed today that the working title for the new picture is codenamed “Shatterhand” in the Production Weekly publication.

The production shooting date, originally set for March is also now scheduled to start on April 6th at Pinewood Studios. The script is currently being re-written by industry legend Scott Z. Burns in London while the film's production has been plagued with delays and setbacks including the departure of its original director, Danny Boyle following creative differences with the film’s producers.

The departure meant that the production had to find a new director and also address issues with the script which were numerous, and there had been further delays in getting Scott Z. Burns onboard to do the much needed re-write so close to the start of the shoot.

With Daniel Craig bowing out on his fifth and final Bond movie, the actor will leave a legacy behind which includes having successfully steered the franchise toward a different Bond that more closely follows the original character as described in the books. The actor has also managed to take cinema ticket sales to new heights following the record breaking box office haul of 'Skyfall’ back in 2012 - grossing over $1 billion worldwide and becoming the UK’s biggest release ever.
