Disney has released its new trailer for “Mulan,” a live-action remake of the original animated film, released in 1998.

The historical war drama tells the story of a young Chinese maiden who disguises herself as a male warrior on a quest to save her father. Meanwhile, the Emperor of China has issued a decree that one man per family must take up arms in the Imperial Chinese Army.

In this first glimpse of the film, the trailer takes audiences on an epic journey through the wilderness as Hua Mulan, the eldest daughter of an honored warrior, goes on her quest to replace her ailing father.
