The first annual Film Industry Network Short Film Contest has received 2309 entries from filmmakers around the world.
Filmmakers and film students submitted short films, animations, documentaries and music videos of up to 10 minutes in length into the Film Industry Network Short Film Contest that will highlight the best filmmaking talent.
Selected winners will be featured on the Film Industry Network website and promoted in the wider industry to more than 100,000 members. Short films will be judged on several criteria including story, cinematography, sound, production design, directing style and performances.
Filmmakers submitted entries from 94 countries for the 2015 contest with more than 50 universities, film schools and colleges taking part.
