Smith as director of mental health/PTSD short 'Finding Wilson’ By FIN Staff / 21 August 2020 © Fact Not Fiction Films ‘Finding Wilson’ written by Viv Young and being made in partnership with the Lucy Rayner Foundation is scheduled to start principle photography in September in West Sussex, England. Producer and Fact Not Fiction Films CEO Tristan Loraine stated: “We are delighted to have Emily as part of the film. It's such an important film to get made. She is a masters degree graduate from the prestigious National Film and Television School with a passion for the subject matter. That says it all. I am confident Emily will do a great job.” Director Emily Smith commented: "When Tristan approached me about ‘Finding Wilson’ I was engaged with the intention and resonant themes of the film. I am excited to bring Viv’s script to life and explore the intriguing nature of the relationship at its heart." The film looks at the important issues of mental health and PTSD and follows on from Fact Not Fiction Films' last short film ‘Missing a Note’ which highlighted the issues of dementia in partnership with Dementia Matters. Lucy Rayner, CEO for the Lucy Rayner Foundation commented: "The film has been supported by so many people in these difficult times with COVID and we are very grateful.
