Do It Creative Studio have finished post-production on upcoming indie horror feature film ‘The House on the Cliff’ as it prepares for the film festival circuit later this year.

Sam Bhattacharjee’s directorial debut ‘The House on the Cliff’ is set in a picturesque English village, centred around two newlyweds, Soumili Banerjee and Harmesh Banerjee played by Nyra Banerjee (Divya-Drishti) and Sid Makkar (The Exotic Marigold Hotel) as they embark on their new life together. However, after moving into their dream home, their love is suddenly tested by increasingly unusual behaviour from the locals and several unexplained, paranormal incidents. In order to overcome these strange happenings around them they must draw on the expertise of a detective named Barun Rai, played by Priyanshu Chatterjee, who posses extraordinary parapsychological abilities.

The film is set to be the first of the paranormal franchise produced by Unicorn Motion Pictures that aims to bring the genre to the forefront and inspire audiences with a deeper look at paranormal stories. Inspired by true events, the film takes place in 1978, with ‘Tum Bin’ star Priyanshu Chatterjee portraying a non-nonsense detective in a new character driven role.

Specialising in feature film production with a VFX production house and team of global filmmakers, Do It Creative Studio have been working on the film’s special effects and editing. The UK production was shot on location in Romford in Essex and produced by Mahbub Reza Chowdhury and Sam Bhattacharjee.

The production house also specialises in music video production and scriptwriting, working internationally on projects with a UK and India based team.

‘The House on the Cliff’ is set for a late 2021 release following its festival run, with a sequel in the works.
