Hobbit: Red Carpet Live premiere
The cast of 'The Hobbit : The Desolation of Smaug' are attending the World Premiere in Los Angeles to celebrate the release of Sir Peter Jackson's epic sequel, which will be released nationwide on 13th December
Stars attending include Orlando Bloom, Martin Freeman, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Stephen Fry.
The LA Times reports that the writers and producers of the film including Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens will walk the red carpet.
The Hobbit sequel will be broadcast live on Youtube, Facebook and hundreds of blogs around the world in what could be the largest live red carpet event ever. With millions of fans tuning in to tonight's event, 'The Hobbit 2', is already shaping up to enter the live-stream record books.
Cate Blanchett, Ian McKellen, Luke Evans and Richard Armitage are among a host of actors playing in the sequel which follows the dwarves on their epic quest to reclaim their homeland : Erebor.
