At the end of gruesome week for the film industry, President Obama capped it off with some accidental humor when he told reporters that he admired James Flacco.
James Franco didn't get a mention by the President, but Flacco, whoever that is, has become an internet sensation.
The mystery actor who allegedly played alongside Seth Rogen in 'The Interview' was nowhere to be seen during Sony's marketing campaign however the White House did get an advanced preview of the movie months before the studio was hacked (no joke).
Obama endorses James Flacco
The President said that he supported Sony but added that pulling the film, in his eyes "was a mistake."
It is unclear what the ramifications for James Franco are, but it looks like he now needs a publicist to help him get his name out into political circles.
