PARIS, France - The earthquake in Haiti has put the entertainment industry's second biggest awards ceremony on the sidelines as the focus shifts towards fundraising. Stars from all corners of the industry have come together to encourage people to donate to charities to help the victims of the disaster which has flattened large parts of the country.

Wyclef Jean has asked people to donate to his Yele Haiti Foundation website, and other musicians have joined. Chris Martin is urging people to donate to Oxfam UK, who have set up an emergency donation fund for the disaster. Doctors Without Borders announced that Hollywood stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were contributing $1 million to the organization's emergency medical operations.

"We understand the first response is critical to serve the immediate needs of countless people who are now displaced from their homes, are suffering trauma, and most require urgent care," Pitt states.

Film Industry Network asks its members to donate to any of these charities. Thanks for the support.
