Arnold Schwarzenegger tells CAA agency Im back in movies

After 7 years of absence Arnold Schwarzenegger has officially confirmed that he is returning to the big screen and looking to read scripts for movies.

The Hollywood action hero and ex governor was rumoured to have been reading scripts but there was no official word whether he was back for sure. Now fans can get excited as Arnie himself tweeted yesterday :

Arnold Schwarzenegger : Exciting news. My friends at CAA have been asking me for 7 years when they can take offers seriously. Gave them the green light today.

Whether Arnie will take to the big guns, or play in less active roles has yet to be seen, but one possibility is an outing in Expendables 2 with Sly Stallone. However, no word yet on whether the two will collaborate.

Arnold s last major onscreen outing apart from his cameo in The Expendables was in 2003's summer hit Terminator 3 . The sequel subsequently came out without him, starring Christian Bale. Fans of the previous movies were disappointed with its wooden plot, and critics called it another sequel victim of franchise fatigue .

Will Arnie decide to make a sequel to True Lies with James Cameron, or do something completely fresh?
