After being discovered at the FIFA World Cup, Belgian beauty Axelle Despiegelaere has lost her contract with L'Oreal following a controversial image she posted of herself 'hunting wild animals' in Africa.

To add to the insult she posted this highly insensitive comment following the upload that has received a huge backlash and forced L'Oreal to distance themselves from her:

“Hunting is not a matter of life or death. It’s much more important than that ... this was about 1 year ago ... ready to hunt Americans today haha,”

After receiving overwhelming support from people aruond the world, the Belgian has ended her modeling career, at least for now, as she faces angry comments from animal rights groups, charities and the general public following her comments about hunting Americans.

Recap: Belgian Beauty winning contract

It was thanks to a photographer at the World Cup in Brazil that she got discovered, but unfortunately the 17-year-old didn't think about how her comments would affect other people.
