Social media outlets and bloggers went crazy this week when a marketing campaign turned viral about a ‘Zombie Apocalypse’ which came directly from The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Yes, the government agency issued a full page spread on its website on how to prepare for a Zombie invasion.
From naming ‘Resident Evil’ to ‘Night Of The Living Dead’ as good references the buzz surrounding the announcement continues to grow. To add further to the doomsday speculations (although this has nothing to do with the end of the world) a radical Christian group predicted the demise of the planet May 21st 2011. Although, they had already issued a similar prediction in 1994.
