Box office estimates for Sony's 'The Amazing Spider-Man' today add up to $521.2 million in 88 territories. This includes $35 million at the U.S box office, and $66 million internationally.
Despite the success of 'The Amazing Spider-Man', 'Ice Age: Continental Drift' has managed to top the international and U.S box office this weekend with $141 million in earnings worldwide. This includes a $46 million haul at the U.S box office.
Seth MacFarlane's 'Ted' came in at 3rd place globally with an impressive $31 million haul. In fourth place was Disney's animation fairytale 'Brave' with $17.1 million, pushing its worldwide total to $242 million. 'Magic Mike' this week entered in 5th place totalling $98.2 million.
