Record-breaking BVExpo set to welcome TV & Film Professionals

2016-BVE-EXPO-London
This year’s BVExpo during London Entertainment Week will be the largest ever after a historic year for the British Creative Industries which contributed £84bn to the economy.

Thousands of filmmakers and TV professionals are headed to London for this year’s 3-day BVE which will welcome Oscar and BAFTA winners, technology experts and film producers who will speak at several panels as well as participate in live Q and As.

Filmmakers can register for free to get their accreditations and access workshops, Keynotes, technology demonstrations and much more.

BVE will also welcome guest speakers from some of the biggest film studios, TV and film production companies including 20th Century Fox, Netflix, BBC and Sky. More than 150 speakers will hold free seminars for attendees, and there will also be a special comedy night hosted by award winning comedians.

“We’re thrilled to welcome a host of new exhibitors as BVE expands into the Pro AV and Live Entertainment Technology sector. Our wider focus recognises the increasing convergence of the Broadcast and AV sectors and I am thoroughly looking forward to the broad range of exhibitors, speakers and visitors we can expect both on the BVE show floor and during London Entertainment Week this year.” - Daniel Sacchelli, Event Manager for BVE and London Entertainment Week 2016.

Panasonic, Adobe, Fujifilm, Vivid, HP and Imagen will be among the 300+ Exhibitors presenting the latest production technology while Oscar and BAFTA winning Director Kevin Macdonald will participate in a Keynote during the BVE. BECTU will also run a CV clinic while DoPs, lighting professionals and Directors can connect at networking sessions.

Nigel Wilkes, Group Manager for Panasonic spoke about BVE this week and said:

“The growing diversity and relevance of BVE into key sectors such as AV and Live Production demonstrates the show’s commitment to attracting new buyers, brands and venues from outside the traditional world of broadcasting. We’re excited to see that BVE recognises the evolution of the industry and look forward to what the future holds.”
