Michael Higgins cast with Scarlett Johansson in We Bought Zoo

We Bought Zoo directed by Cameron Crowe will star John Michael Higgins, along with Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson. The film, which will be directed by Cameron Crowe is based on Benjamin Mee's memoir.

The film tells the story of a man who uses his life s savings to buy a run down Zoo and turns it into a big success, but along the way faces impeding disasters from escape tigers to caring for his dying wife.

Scarlett Johansson and Matt Damon onscreen

The pairing of Academy Award winning Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson is notable, as the two have both very distinctive method approaches to acting. While Johansson got her fame and recognition from 'Lost in Translation' directed by Sofia Coppola, Matt Damon's 'Good Will Hunting' opposite Robin Williams  was seen as his career high.

The casting also includes Thomas Hayden Church and Elle Fanning and is set to shoot in Los Angeles in the next month.
