A bomb threat has forced the evacuation of Manhattan Beach Studios and residents are being asked to avoid 1600 Rosecrans.
The Manhattan Beach Studios is where several major blockbusters have been shot including 'Iron Man 2'.
Currently police are reportedly sweeping the area around the Media Campus and a perimeter has been set up to prevent anyone from going near the building before a search can be completed.
According to Variety, James Cameron will shoot the 'Avatar' sequels at the studios this summer although a majority of the production will be taking place outside of California.
