‘Matrix’ star Keanu Reeves has just completed scenes for ‘47 Ronin’ but is now about to being his own directorial debut with the ‘Man Of Tai Chi’.
Reeves is the latest Hollywood star to take on the role of a director after the likes of Angelina Jolie and George Clooney. The actor is heading to China to shoot his Kung Fu style action movie that will include 18 fights and 40 minutes of non-stop Kung Fu according to the Wall Street Journal. After seeing the stunts performed in the Matrix movies, which changed the standards for action back in 1998, Reeves is the perfect ‘agent’ to undertake this kind of movie.
Kung Fu and martial arts movie fans will also be delighted to know that choreographer Yuen Woo Ping will be part of the team. Reeves is currently looking for Chinese actors to cast in ‘Man Of Tai Chi’ which will be shot in early 2012 in Hong Kong and mainland China.
