Rush Hour star Jackie Chan has organised a music concert to raise money for Japan that will include 100 artists.
Actors Eric Tsang and Hacken Lee will also attend the event, and other high profile Hong Kong Cinema figures.
Jackie Chan has often been at the forefront of Charitable events, and recently attended the White House with Chinese Leader Hu Jintao. Chan was also a prominent figure for the 2008 Olympics, and is seen as China's biggest success in the west.
Money raised by the event and a special single entitled 'Succumb Not To Sorrow' will go toward relief efforts including supplies such as food and blankets.

Jackie Statement : "The earthquake in Japan was a devastating disaster and I want the Japanese people to know that my thoughts are with them. We all need to do everything we can to help and support the Red Cross and other relief organizations and to pray that the Japanese people will heal quickly from the emotional, physical, and economic devastation."
