Director, writer and producer Hafid Abdelmoula’s latest film “Broken Gaiete” continues to wow critics following its festival circuit run.

With no fewer than 15 nominations and 5 wins including Best Director at the El Paso Film Festival, Best Film at the Santa Fe Film Festival and Best Director at the World Music and Independent Film Festival, “Broken Gaiete” has been Abdelmoula’s most successful feature to-date.

Depicting the story of a man and a woman who pass through a village where inhabitants live by strange rules, the fantasy film takes audiences on a mystical journey that keeps them riveted to the climactic end. How the protagonists survive depends on their decisions, with an intriguing plot that unfolds as the story progresses.
