Disney releases advice for UK Star Wars 7 auditions

Want to audition for Star Wars 7?

Actors and fans have been queuing in Bristol today for their chance to play in Disney's 'Star Wars 7' which will shoot in the UK next year. With the hype for the movie already at ridiculous levels, actors around the country are preparing to attend regional auditions to get their chance at making it on the big screen.

Claire Curry released yesterday some helpful tips for people heading to the Disney auditions in the UK, as the turnout is expected to be very high in the coming days.

Via Disney's UK Casting call page:

"You don't have to prepare anything. Just a meet and greet at this stage so no need to contact me to ask how you apply, just show up."

"You should bring a headshot - doesn't have to be professional. Any clear picture will do."

"You only have to come on one day. We will have you in the room for 5 minutes. Please prepare for queues. It is up to you what time you arrive"

"There are two venues in one day as we have a team, so one in Glasgow, one in Manchester etc."

"Girls You must be 16 or over on the day of the audition - no 16 in two weeks / 2 days etc On the day you MUST be 16 or over. Boys 18 or over. There is no exceptions."

"We will not be doing meetings via Skype/ online auditions. To be seen you have to come and meet".

What we recommend

If you guys are considering to attend follow the advice carefully and don't put too much pressure on yourself. As stated, you only have 5 minutes to make an impact so just be yourself and best of luck!
