The UK Film Industry's Media and Entertainment Union BECTU is inviting its members and the general public to an informal discussion on film production practices.

Taking place tomorrow, Wednesday 19th February, BECTU will be debating the important issues of health and safety on low budget film productions along with the pressing issue of late payments for cast and crews.
Recently the British Film Industry was made aware of a troubling incident that occurred on a low budget indie film production which caused widespread concern about certain filming standards. This week, Film Industry Network issued a public safety announcement which you can read here regarding working rights.
