Got Tunnel Vision from Justin Timberlake?
Justin Timberlake's edgy new music video 'Tunnel Vision' features several fully naked models caressing their bodies in what can only be described as a cross-over between erotic art and music video porn.
Throughout the video, Timberlake's face can be seen composited over the naked bodies of what would appear to be some very turned on models. Through a haze of smoke, some arty lighting, and provocative posing, Timberlake's 7+ minute video covers all angles of nudity.
Earlier this week Youtube banned the video, but it was later re-released with an explicit warning for viewers. Normally sexually explicit videos are pulled from Youtube but Google released a statement regarding 'Tunnel Vision', explaining where some controversial uploads may remain on the site after review:
"While our Guidelines generally prohibit nudity, we make exceptions when it is presented in an educational, documentary or artistic context, and take care to add appropriate warnings and age-restrictions." - Via ABC
While Timberlake is not the first music artist to incorporate nudity into a music video (Robin Thicke's 'Blurred Lines' as one example), 'Tunnel Vision' has certainly strengthened the pop porn/ artistic music video porn movement. Can we expect to see more artists deliver fewer clothes in future releases?
