Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy has announced two new cast members are joining the Star Wars 7 production while the film will halt shooting for a fortnight in August.
Currently filming at Pinewood Studios in the UK, the film is scheduled to stop shooting in August during a 2-week period according to the official statement following Harrison Ford's broken leg inury, and subsequent schedule changes.
However, this means that the film's original release date will not be changed, which is currently set for December 18th 2015.
The two new cast members to join the film are British actor Pip Andersen and American Actress Crystal Clarke.
Following on from the succesful shoot in Abu Dhabi and the start of prinicpal photography at Pinewood, it was rumored that the film would face delays caused by a on-set mishap where Harrison Ford was airlifted to Hospital in Oxford, UK. Disney has managed to re-work the schedule of the shoot with minimal disruption.
