Sean Connery to host New York Charity Fashion Gala

Sean Connery is heading to New York Tuesday to host The Glenlivet Dressed to Kilt' charity fashion Gala along with major designers and well known public figures from The US and Scotland.

Dressed to Kilt is regarded as the most important Scottish event in the world, and promotes cultural ties between both nations, with all the fun and entertainment that comes along with it. Money raised from this year's event will go towards the Wounded Warrior Project, the Paralyzed Veterans of America, and the Erskine Hospital in Scotland through Sean Connery's Friends of Scotland Charity.

Tickets are available through the website, and attendees will be treated to an all star fashion show, with models, actors and musicians in attendance. Some of the designer labels to be represented include Alexander McQueen,   House of Holland, Locharron of Scotland, Vivienne Westwood and Katherine Hooker. Montana, Pat Dahnke, IOTA, Dreamwear and Prophetik will also be featured.

Scotland s first Minister Alex Salmond will be amongst the Honoree's chairing the event. Donald Trump will also be a guest at this year's event.
