New Eminem video viewed 4 million times in 24 hours

DETROIT, USA Eminem's new music video Love the way you Lie featuring Rihanna and an onscreen performance with Megan Fox and Lost star Dominic Monaghan has been watched over 4 million times in 24 hours.

The highly anticipated track was the first time Eminem and Rihanna had collaborated on a song. "It's really beautiful, and it really stands out," Rihanna added. "It's a really unique record. I'm really excited about it."

The video covers the controversial subject of domestic violence, and contains some fiery lyrics that have pushed the duo up to the top of the billboard charts. Rihanna was awarded the Glamour Woman of the Year prize, partly for her stand on domestic violence making this video all the more relevant and personal for her.

Rihanna also said, "It just was authentic. It was real. It was believable for us to do a record like that, but it was also something that needed to be done. He pretty much just broke down the cycle of domestic violence and it touches a lot of people."

Few artists can pull off a thought provoking melody, but Eminem's controversial songs in the past including Kim , a fantasy of how he kills his ex wife, are just some of many that bring fire to his message.

Earlier in June, Eminem had spoken to French Radio SkyRock about his upcoming collaborations with Pink and Rihanna :

"As far as the songs with Pink and Rihanna ... when I did the song that I did with Pink, I laid my parts first and kind of heard her on the record and felt that she would smash this record. And the other one I did with Rihanna is one of those tracks that I felt like only she could pull it off, only she could do it."

Eminem will be kicking off his big concert appearances next month along with Jay Z, starting at the Comerica Park venue in Detroit. It is not yet known whether Rihanna will perform at one of the gigs.
