“Men in Black: International” is set for release this week with a spinoff that reboots the franchise after its last outing with Will Smith back in 2012.

Receiving mixed reviews, the new spinoff with a different cast, and without Will Smith or Tommy Lee Jones takes the franchise into a new direction.

The last 3 Men in Black movies were directed by Barry Sonnenfeld and in 2012, “MIB 3” earned over $620 million at the box office after a poor reception for the previous film that was decimated by reviewers.

However, in the new reboot, a star-studded cast including Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Emma Thompson and Liam Neeson is set to breath new life into a storyline that takes place after the events of the last movie. F. Gary Gray directs the new picture which is scored by Danny Elfman and Chris Bacon.

Chris Hemsworth plays the role of Agent H, with Tessa Thompson as Agent M, a new recruit that is assigned to the MIB’s UK organization.

The film follows a series of alien attacks that leads our new MIB agents into certain danger. Can this adventure take the franchise to new heights?
