Matt Damon to join Paul Greengrass in Bourne 4

Matt Damon will be back as Jason Bourne in the 4th movie following the revelation that he has teamed up with director Paul Greengrass to shoot the new pic.

Scheduled to shoot in 2015, the sequel to 'The Bourne Ultimatum' is confirmed for a 2016 release much to the delight of fans who thought until recently that Damon would not be returning.

Following the successful conclusion of the new Project Greenlight competition, Damon's future casting was revealed by pal Ben Affleck at the finale of Season 4.

Damon then confirmed later on that he was telling the truth and that all he needed was to have Paul Greengrass in the director's chair to commit to another movie, which he has now done so. The Bourne movies have been highly successful, cementing Matt Damon as a leading figure in the espionage, thriller genre.

During the filming of the previous Bourne movies, Damon once accidentally punched a French actor in the face while practicing a fighting scene, and bought the stuntman a crate of Champagne.

The shoot is set to commence next fall and the title of the new film has yet to be revealed. Are you excited about Matt Damon returning as Jason Bourne?
