Interstellar receives praise from critics ahead of UK release

Christopher Nolan's 'Interstellar' dazzled London last week, and critics have been quick to the film a thumbs up ahead of its UK wide release.

The new sci-fi thriller tells the story of a group of explorers who discover a new wormhole in space to find a planet that can sustain life as Earth's natural resources are dwindling to the point of devastation.

Starring the recently mocked Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway and Michael Caine, the film puts Nolan's new directorial vision into the spotlight following his final film in the Batman franchise, which was re-invented and became a global phenomenon. Ben Affleck will star in the new Batman vs Super-man movie.

On Rotten Tomatoes, 'Interstellar' has a solid 74% approval while over on IMDB, early reviews are pushing the film way above 9 out of 10.
