Facebook, the world's largest social media website has suddenly appeared unavailable after profiles became inaccessible.
Facebook users wanting to log in currently see this warning as they try to navigate profiles, pages or groups. While it is not uncommon for social media sites to face a few moments of downtime, this outage appears more serious given that there is absolutely no access to the site. In addition, with advertisers unable to track performances and like buttons currently offline, it would seem that the social network may be facing a major problem.
The outage occurred at 8.57am London time, and as of yet we don't know what has caused Facebook to suddenly become unavailable.
Users on Twitter have already begun to report an outage that could be worldwide.
