Cybersmile and Zink Talent Launch “Beyond Profiles” Campaign on Stop Cyberbullying Day

The Cybersmile Foundation and Zink Talent have unveiled an influencer-led campaign titled “Beyond Profiles” to spotlight the severe impact of cyberbullying on mental health. This initiative, launched to coincide with Stop Cyberbullying Day, aims to foster meaningful dialogue and encourage positive actions against online abuse.

The campaign’s centerpiece is a short film shot in Los Angeles, featuring three influencers who share their harrowing experiences with cyberbullying. Their testimonies underscore the emotional toll of online abuse, reminding viewers that real feelings and emotions lie behind social media profiles.

Reality TV star Sydney Gordon reveals the severe public backlash she encountered, including death threats and numerous hate messages, after participating in a show to find love. Utilizing her platform, she now advocates against cyberbullying. Christie Val, recognized as Sports Illustrated’s first bald model and the founder of Baldtourage, recounts her transformation from concealing her alopecia behind a wig to becoming a beacon of inspiration for young women. Similarly, Charlie Rocket, who managed artists like 2 Chainz before founding the Dream Machine foundation, discusses his journey. After overcoming a brain tumor, he dedicated himself to supporting others and raising awareness about the dangers of cyberbullying.

“Beyond Profiles” marks the first installment of a strategic partnership between Cybersmile and Zink Talent, leveraging the power of creators to address key digital wellbeing issues. 

By sharing these personal stories, the campaign aims to remind internet users that there are real people with real emotions behind every social media account, encouraging a more compassionate and respectful online environment.
