After Charice finished her first film 'Here Comes The Boom!' starring Salma Hayek and Kevin James she faced a more personal issue: haters.
It is no secret that people with success often face a lot of anti-sentiment because they are in the spotlight. Youtube, twitter and Facebook allow for such 'hate' because the idea of freedom of speech is built in to those websites.
When Charice got heavily criticized for having 'gained weight' after her Glee performance, the comments had been very hurtful. However, this is not the only kind of criticism she faces. There are countless individuals who would find it amusing to make hateful comment about someone, not just Charice. Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus are two good examples of successful singers who face a daily onslaught of negative criticism.
