Introducing the Learjet 45 XR
Bombardier’s business Learjet 45 has been in service since 1997 and was updated in 2004 with the XR model with faster engines and increased take-off weight. It is one of the fastest jets in use today with a cruising speed of Mach 0.82 and has many uses. For business, it’s a quick, safe and fast way to get around, and because it flies higher than other aircraft it is less susceptible to turbulence. Private Jet charter companies often recommend the Learjet 45 for businesses and small groups looking for speed at a lower cost. Although comfortable and well designed, it is less luxurious than other private jets. Bombardier’s light business aircraft is also used for medical purposes, such as transporting urgent supplies to hospitals. The Learjet 45 is also frequently used for relief operations to carry aid into remote areas.
